Spaghetti au vin rouge

Ingredients

454g spaghetti

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp olive oil

¼ cup chopped garlic

1 cup cabernet sauvignon

¾ jar of Yo Mama’s Original Marinara

8 fresh basil leaves

¼ cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente and set aside
  2. In a medium pot, add in olive oil and chopped garlic. Cook until the garlic becomes fragrant and golden brown
  3. Add in the cabernet sauvignon and salt and mix
  4. When the mixture is at a soft boil, mix in Yo Mama’s Original Marinara
  5. Let simmer and stir until the sauce thickens
  6. Add in fresh basil leaves and continue to stir
  7. Lower the heat and toss in the spaghetti evenly coating the pasta in sauce
  8. Remove from the heat and plate
  9. Garnish with parmesan cheese and enjoy!
