Yo Mama's Sausage Squash

Serves: 2-4

  • 1 spaghetti squash, cut into halves and remove seeds

  • 1 pound ground sausage

  • 1 jar Yo Mama’s Marinara

  • Shredded Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper, optional

  1. Rub interior of squash halves with olive oil or melted butter. Place cut-side down on greased broiler pan or rimmed baking sheet.

  2. Bake squash at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes or until tender. Remove from oven and scrape squash with a fork to work into shreds.

  3. Meanwhile, brown the sausage in a skillet, breaking up into small bits, until all traces of pink are gone. Gently warm Yo Mama’s Marinara.

  4. Spoon cooked sausage into squash halves and spoon some of the Yo Mama’s Marinara over the top. Sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese.

  5. Serve extra Yo Mama’s Marinara in a gravy boat alongside the filled squash
