Yo Mama’s Zesty Sesame Burgers

Serves 4-5

  • 16-20 oz. ground turkey

  • 1 egg

  • ¼ tsp onion powder

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

  • ¼ tsp ginger powder

  • 5 Tbl Yo Mama’s Zesty Sesame dressing, divided

  • 4 fresh pineapple slices

  • 4 slices Swiss cheese

  • 4 slices bacon

  • lettuce

  • 4 burger buns, warmed

  • mayonnaise

  1. Mix together the ground turkey, egg, seasonings, and 1 Tbl Yo Mama’s Zesty Sesame dressing.

  2. Cook bacon over medium heat until crisp.

  3. Shape turkey mixture into 4 equally-sized patties and cook in the bacon grease approximately 5 minutes per side, flipping once the sides are beginning to brown.  Burgers need to reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit or more.

  4. While burgers are cooking, spread mayonnaise on the inside top of each warmed bun, followed by 1 Tbl Yo Mama’s Zesty Sesame dressing per sandwich.

  5. Add cheese and pineapple slices to the tops of each burger and continue to heat until cheese is slightly melted; remove from heat and place a burger atop each bun.

  6. Top with bacon and lettuce.
